Split Infinity Area.

Also of interest is the Split Infinity Area, that lies next door to the right. Here you will find a good warm up traverse, some excellent independent lines, a stack of eliminates and an intriguing project.
Originally developed as an eliminate zone by Chris Davies during ninety-six, this buttress was modernised by Neil Dyer during the following years. Neil extended and added purity to a number of Chris's eliminate problems. 'Lickety Split' V7, 'Split Youth Link'V8 and the 'Incomplete Youth' are free of rules (save the premise that you should stay below the top break on the traverse) and feature powerful and unlikely moves on slopers and dinks.

Split Infinity Area - Graded List.

1. The Incomplete Youth - V10 - Font. 7c+ ** - Sit start where roof edge runs into wall. Move up then left on slopey dinks to the front of the prow, drop down past flake and move left to a horizontal shothole at the left arete, slap left into crimps and cruise to victory (with applause from the assembled throng) along the Split Traverse.

3. Split Youth Link - V8 - Font. 7b *

4. Split Traverse - V2 - Font. 6a ** - From corner follow shotholes left, reaching under the roof from the break to the continuation of the traverse and the final crux section passing the big slope (NB. A reverse is good, finishing along the break and around the prow above problem two, then along the break climbing down near the start of problem one. V3 - Font. 6a+)

5. Pillar Finish - V3 - Font.6a+ ** - Exit upwards at the right side of the big slope.

Obviously numerous eliminates exist to the left and right of problem five and around the roof section.
