Ogawayama / Mawarimedaira Boulder.

Location : Nagano-ken Minani Saku-gun Kawakamimura.
Kind of Rock : Granite.
Seasons :Best = Oct~Nov (everyday sunny).
Seasons :Good = Spring(4~5) & Fall(10~12).
Seasons :Poor = 6 ~ 7 rain season.
Number of Problems : over 320.

Ogawayama has become the Japanese Mecca for bouldering which is reflected by the number of hard boulder problems and routes. Jerry Moffatt visited this place in 1984 so if it's good enough for him! Mawarimedaira camp site is located within the bouldering area and provides good facilities within the beautiful forest.
