Getting Here
You’ll find
The Grampians mountain range about 3 hours North West of Melbourne
in the state of Victoria. Mount Stapylton is to be found right at
the most Northern tip of this 80km range about 20 minutes South
East of the town of Horsham.
From Melbourne
take the Western freeway (M8) for about 80km to the town of Ballarat.

the road turns into the Western Highway (A8) which you should
follow for about 140km passing through Ararat heading for Horsham
- 20km
after the giant Koala (you’ll know what I mean when you see
it) take a left onto the North Grampians rd and follow for 13km
until you can take a left onto Plantation rd (posted Olive plantation)
and follow for 5 km’s
If you’re traveling
from Horsham way then exit this town on the A8 heading to Melbourne
- a few km’s
after Horsham take a right on Laharum rd (posted Wonwondah East)
and follow for 23km
- @ the T-junction
take a right onto North Grampians rd for 4.5km
- take a left
onto Plantation rd (posted Olive plantation) and follow for 5
km’s
