1) I have read many articles on the importance of stretching and warming up, but I don't know what kind of stretches and warming up exercises I should do before climbing?
2) When will Ben and Jerry be releasing another video?
3) Did Ben climb Hubble in Lasers or Vectors (sad question but it will solve a long-standing argument)?
David Rowland.

1) Warm-ups normally incorporate light exercise that is primarily designed to increase the bodies core temperature. The increase in core temperature has been shown to have significant effects on the biomechanical and physiological processes resulting in a increase in mechanical output of muscle. A good initial exercise would be one that works a large group of muscles without causing excessive fatigue such as skipping. Light intensity climbing such as traversing or tope roping easy routes may be included as part of your warm-up routine. The recommended warm-up period is between 15-30 minutes depending on the conditions. We will be covering warm-ups and stretching techniques in more detail in a future issue of CragX so keep logging on for further advice.
2) Although both Ben and Jerry have appeared in a few videos since 'The Real Thing' such as 'High Life' and the new British bouldering video by Ben Pritchard and Slackjaw out next year, there are no plans to make another video.
3) Ben wore a pair of prototype laced slipper very similar to the Sprint shoe when he climbed Hubble. The Laser and Vector rock shoe were both developments from this early-laced shoe.
