Getting around.

Click here to view larger image.Essential map for the area.As I said earlier a car or friendly climber who will ferry you round in this area is essential. Your first purchase should be the Bernhard Thum "Topofuhrer" guide presently in it's 6th edition (60DM) and a Wanderkarte map of the "naturpark frankische schweiz". Without either of these you will get lost! With these in hand you should be able to find most of the crags even if your German is non-existent. Just remember links is left and rechts is right!
