What do you mean you want a rest day! If you were hard you'd just keep climbing, or at least have an active rest day doing ease circuits. But if you must I recommend playing Frisbee in the forest with a group of friends 'hours of fun for all the family'. Fontainebleau has a good cinema and loads of cafes where you can either hide from the rain or just relax and talk about your climbing prowess.

There's a climbing wall 'Mur-Mur' at 55 rue Cartier Bresson just north east of Paris but you didn't come all this way to pull on plastic. The boulders dry relatively fast so even if its raining lightly don't right the day off. Certain areas like Calvaire are climbable in all weathers 'well almost'.
