Location.

Fontainebleau is located in the north of France about 65 km south east of Paris. The A6 'autoroute du soleil' between Paris and Dijon runs parallel to the major road that leads in to Fontainebleau (N7). Paris has two airports Charles de Gaulle located near the A1 and Orly just east of the N7. Trains run ever hour from Gare du Lyon Paris to Fontainebleau.
