Population
Mallorca is the largest in a group of Spanish islands known collectively
as the Balearics.
The natives are proud of their heritage and are from the same descendants
as the Catalans in Barcelona.
As a result they speak a Spanish dialect, though most people understand
whatever Spanish you can remember from school and of course English.
