Main Wall.
| 5. B10
'Nige's Problem' sit down start from the obvious break just
left of blunt nose going to sloper high and out right (right
hand), then left hand to a small sloper and pebble. Dyno for
a layaway and pull up and over rightwards to finish. |
| 6. B7-
faint groove from the sit down start. |
| 7. B3-
crack only - jam your way out to the right hand undercut, then
finish up high. |
| 8. B10-
'Zaff's Problem' pull over the nose from the jugs in the back
of the cave. Incorrectly marked in the Peak Bouldering Guide!
|
| 9. B8-
'Beachball' (a classic) starts by the traverse in from the right
of the crack on obvious jugs, then slap wildly to the top. There
is a direct start, with the same grade. |
| 10. B7-
just left of Beachball uses the same starting holds, go left
to a rounded pocket (Desperate!). |
| 11. B7-
called 'Weird Little Problem' in the bouldering guide, one hand
on the lip, the other just under the roof and pull leftwards
to finish. |

Main Wall
Traverses.
| 12. B8-
from the sloping shelf under the pocketed wall, traverse left
underneath 'Beachball' all the way to the end. |
| 13.
B8- same start as problem 12 finish up 'Beachball'. |
| 14. B10-
'Zippatricks' (reputedly unrepeated), footless and leftwards
along the sloping ledge. |
| 15. B7-
same start as 'Zippatricks' on the jugs just right of the crack.
Using your feet wisely, finish up and left on the sloping shelf.
|
| 16. B9-
same starting holds as the original 'Beachball' move left. On
reaching the crack go underneath the roof on weird jams to the
furthest left point. |
Left Hand
Nose of Main Area (potential for eliminates).
| 17. B1-
right hand crack, sit down start. |
| 18. B3-
just left is another crack (sit down start). Follow this to
a bowling ball pocket for the left hand, then finish directly
above. |
| 19. B4-
pockets just left of the arete, sit down start, then up to the
bowling ball pocket with your left hand, finishing directly
above. |
| 20. B7-
the right hand side of the bulging arete sit down start. Slap
your way up into the eye and pocket above. |
| 21. B8-
left hand side of the arete, uses the same big eye and pocket
as problem 20. |
| 22. B4-
awkward groove/shallow crack just left of the arete, sit down
start. |
| 23. B4-
sit down start 1 metre left of the awkward groove, pulling leftwards
on slopers and pockets. |
