The Lecture and Seminar
programme associated with the festival is set to be the biggest audio-visual
extravaganza of the 2001 mountaineering & climbing lecture circuit,
bar none. An eclectic mix of the leading activists in every field
of climbing will take you from the boulders of the Pass to the peaks
of the Himalaya via everywhere else in-between. In addition we’ll
have the best films from the Kendal festival, a selection of the coolest
videos around, essential advice workshops and training seminars. Just
check out this list!
So, get ready to be thrilled and inspired by first hand accounts of
modern climbing, from the extreme to the sublime, by some of the biggest
names on the scene. These lectures by Leo Houlding, Alan
Hinkes, Airlie Anderson, Jerry Gore, Doug Scott, John
Arran, Niall Grimes and John Dunne are not to be missed!
